1^st night: Hanoi - Night train to Lao Cai
Pick up at your hotel and transfer in the evening to Hanoi station for overnight train to Lao Cai. Train depart at 21h15 from Hanoi
Overnight on train

Day 01: Lao Cai - Cao Son market (B,L,D)
Arrival very early morning at the Lao Cai train station. Your guide and your driver will greet you there.  After breakfast in Lao Cai, you will take the road towards the East in a wild region, out of the beaten paths. You will make a first stop in Cao Son to visit its Wednesday market. Though relatively small, this market has a truly unique feel to it. You will see people from various ethnic minorities gather to exchange merchandises and news! After visiting the market, you will continue the road to Cao Son, a little village of the H’mong people located at the top of the mountains. After checking-in to your hotel and freshening up, you will do a lovely walk (3h) to reach the top of a mountain where a long time ago, the French had set up an observation point. From there, you will have a beautiful panoramic view of Lao Cai province. Head back to your hotel in the end of the afternoon.
Overnight in Cao Son

Day 02: Cao Son - Lao Cai  - Night rain to Hanoi (B,L,D)
Embark on a trek from Cao Son to Tin Thang village, the habitat of Flower Hmong. Our tour guide will show you the real life of this minority with vivid activities: traditional black smith, making tofu, cooking corn cake. After that, visitors are to embark on a trek through the rice field and corn plantation for Xa Lung Cheng. Continue to Lu Sui Tung village where you can view the magnificent Bac Ha mountain range, secluded villages and Chay River. Picnic lunch will be served in the village. Afternoon, enjoy the stunning landscape of Cao Son while our car descend to Ta Thang and Coc Ly. It is time to behold the green valley with peaceful Chay River flowing through, dotted with some villages. Transfer to Lao Cai city, having some break to see the China border and Mau Temple.

Day 03: Hanoi Arrival
Arrive Hanoi early morning, pick up by your driver and transfer to your hotel.
