Day 01 (Fri.): Hanoi - Ha Giang (L,D)
Pick up in the morning at your hotel/residence by your guide and driver. Then drive from Hanoi to Ha Giang. Stop en route for lunch. Afternoon arrive Ha Giang followed by a visit to Tay minority at Phuong Do village before check in hotel.

Day 02 (Sat.): Ha Giang - Dong Van (B,L,D)
Today you will travel by car up to the altitude of 1,500m, through the mountain landscape and paddy-field terraces. Stop en route for photo taking at Quyet Tien minority market where the minorities of Nung, White H’mong, Po Y, Dao Lanten, and Tay gather for trade. Continue to Heaven Gate, Fairy Mountain before reaching a White H’mong village specialized in flax weaving. After lunch you will drive up to the mountain (1,432m) to visit the ancient village of White H’mong. Stop en route for photo taking at Chin Khoanh slop. Drive to Sung La to visit Pao’s house (from a famous movie), explore the typical architecture of an H’mong ancient house and a Lo Lo’s house before visit the old H’mong King Palace, belongs to Vuong family. Arrive late afternoon and check in hotel. Free for relax and discover the village in the sunset
Overnight in Dong Van

Day 03 (Sun.): Dong Van – Meo Vac (B,L,D)
Morning visit the Dong Van market: H’mong, Dao, Nung. Drive to Ma Pi Leng. Walking for photo taking on the top of the Heaven Gate. Continue to Meo Vac town for visiting the market. Lunch at Lung Phin. Afternoon, continue to Yen Minh by vehicle. Stop en route for photo taking of rice field terraces and visit the Xuong minority village. You will arrive in Meo Vac town late afternoon and Check-In to hotel.

Day 04: Meo Vac - Viet Lam homestay (B,L,D)
Depart from Meo Vac to Viet Lam. On arrival check in the homestay at Viet Lam, a Tay minority village. Lunch at homestay. Car drive to Thanh Ha. Pick up bike and start biking to explore the Tay minority village and enjoy the scenery. Car drive back to homestay late afternoon. The rest of day is free fro relaxing or participating to the local activities. Evening dinner with local families

Day 05: Viet Lam – Sapa (B,L,D)
After breakfast, depart from homestay to Tan Trinh. En route stop to visit Pa Then minority villages at Tan Trinh. Continue by vehicle to Nghia Do for a short visit of minority villages. Lunch at local restaurant in Pho Rang. Then, transfer to Sapa in the afternoon. Arrive in Sapa and check in hotel. Rest of the day is free for exploring Sapa town.

Day 06: Sapa Visit (B,L,D)
Cruise down the beautiful Sapa valley by vehicle, with stops to walk to visit peaceful villages. For many travelers this is another trip highlight. The soft trek to the Lao Chai village (Black H’mong people) and the Zay village - Ta Van – where we ascend the mountain and cross a pass in the altitude of 1700 m. From here we have a magnificent view to the minority villages and terraced rice fields beneath us. The walk is about 5 km along the track that the Vietnamese used for fleeing, when the Chinese invaded Sa Pa in 1979.

Day 07: Sapa – Colorful market – Lao Cai – Ha Noi (B,L,D)
Transfer in the morning to Cao Son market (Wednesday morning market) or Lung Khau Nhin market (Thursday morning market) or Can Cau market (Saturday morning market) or Muong Khuong market (Sunday morning market) by car, arriving in time to enjoy the very colorful H’mong market in Northern Vietnam. This weekly outdoor gathering isn’t just a chance to buy and sell goods; it’s also the social highlight of the week for ethnic groups from all over the area. After the market, transfer to Lao Cai Station for overnight train back to Hanoi.

Day 08: Hanoi arrival
Arrive in Hanoi early morning, pick up by your guide and driver and transfer to your hotel/residence.
